NIMCET 2023:

NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test conducted to grant admission to the students who want to pursue MCA Programme in any of 11 NITs of the country. The admission into MCA Programme is given on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidates in NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) Examination. The MCA Programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), & Warangal.

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) MCA Common Entrance Test, commonly known as NIMCET is a national- level entrance test conducted by NITs for admission into MCA courses at 11 NITs across the country. Nearly 25,000 candidates register for the test each year. NIMCET 2022 was organised by NIT Jamshedpur.

NIMCET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be an Indian citizen
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale( Hons)/BCA / BIT of minimum 3 years full- time with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
Students with BE/B. Tech or equivalent from a recognized University can appear for the exam.
Aspirant who will be appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply for NIMCET 2022.
Aspirants who have completed a degree in 3 years BSC/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/BIT from open Universities can also apply provided their programme is approved by UGC / AICTE & Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

NIMCET 2023: Paper Pattern
